What I Like

  • True 1080p dual stream video
  • Excellent day time video from front camera
  • Above average night video from front camera
  • Accepts 128GB micro SD cards
  • Decent rear camera video in day and night

What I Don\\\'t Like

  • User interface is confusing to navigate
  • Potential quality control and reliability issues
  • Rear camera could be better at night
  • Rear camera cable may not be long enough for some vehicle configurations

The Veckle Mini Dashcam intrigued me since it offered dual 1080p streams at a budget price (under $150 USD). Previously, dual true 1080p was only available on cameras $300+. I made a video in the past about how dual lens dash cams were not necessarily worthwhile – but the Mini 0906 may have changed my opinion. Watch the video to find out more! Full written review coming soon.

  1. Thank you for your review. It appears the reliability issues are (mostly?) resolved.

I read an earlier Manual for the Mini that said there was a “sucker attachment w/GPS” available as an accessory. This would enable the ability to turn the front camera 90 degrees horizontal (out the side window)easily compared to the standard sticker mount. Are you familiar with this?

Am I correct in assuming the standard sticker mount does not allow this and if the camera is removed from the mount, there is no power to it?
