The Viofo A119 Mini 2 is an updated version of the original A119 Mini that features a new Sony Starvis 2 image sensor. This image sensor promises better low light performance and it delivers. This dashcam has among the best low light performance of any camera I’ve tested to date. Plate readability is quite high at night (when stopped). It also does not compromise on daytime performance. I chose to use HDR mode more than 2K60 as I like having the better dynamic range versus high frame rate and large file sizes.
