The Good

  • Excellent Build Quality
  • HUGE Touch Screen
  • Cheaper than Amazon's Free Shipping Threshold

The Bad

  • Inconsistent video quality
  • Low video bitrate
  • Iffy audio
  • Only one phyiscal button

The RunMe R3 is far from the worst camera we have seen (especially at its current price of $20) however it lacks consistency. Video quality can be hit-or-miss depending on lighting conditions resulting in brightness and colour issues. These problems were common in budget cameras from 3 or 4 years ago.

The build quality, however, is far better than you would expect given its low price.

For $20 it may well be worth it and is miles above other offerings at that price, however at its regular price of $40-$50, you are better off spending a little bit more on something like the Campark V30.

This camera is also known as the DBPower EX7000 Pro. Purchase whichever is cheaper.
